Mistigram: released in December of 1996 (pretty seasonal, eh?), this creepy piece of early #ANSIart by Neophyte predates I Know What You Did Last Summer by a few months, so it must simply be tapping into the “hook handed killer” school of urban myth (or the “avoids drawing hands” school of new artists 8). It was an ad for Kestrel and Wetworks’ Mist member BBS Legion of Knights. Not sure what the Mighty Mouse quote is about, but it’s consistent with the overall aesthetic. https://ift.tt/35EVvSL
