Following four themed artpacks in a row, MIST0318 marks Mistigris’ first “free play” unthemed collection since their 23rd anniversary selections in MIST1117 – and this highlights reel demonstrates an exciting thematic breadth, lighting upon islands of works engaging (for instance) retrocomputing, space travel, and feminism. Mediums harnessed run from the traditional fine arts of painting, drawing and photography to the new media forms of pixelart, voxelart, and textmode artforms of ANSI art, teletext, Shift_JIS and typewriter art.
