Is this one, 'About A Font', made in response to @NEFFEX's 2022 song 'As You Fade Away'? Only the artist knows for sure.  Mistigram: this dual-wielding rough character, one of a wide suite of designs inspired by MOTU action figures, was drawn by @axltm in #PLAYSCII's #JPETSCII. It was included in the MIST0819 artpack released seven years ago this month.

 Mistigram: this blue #ANSIart logo was drawn by Neophyte in promotion of Mr. Flibbles' BBS Stupidmop (or SM, as abbreviated here). This piece was included in a logocolly in the MIST0896 artpack collection released thirty years ago this month.

 Mistigram: Inspired by blackjack, VileR drew an #ANSIart fever dream through a Lost Wages casino culminating in this logo celebrating the 21st edition of the Total DOS Collection, a software preservation project. It was included in the unthemed MIST0823 artpack collection released three years ago this month.

 Mistigram: this #newschool #asciiart logo, reading "Unsociable", was drawn by Psychoholik and included in the unthemed MIST0822 artpack collection, released four years ago this month.

M-9808/DM-MISTO

 Mistigram: this ominous grey banner image of some magical urban catastrophe was made by Dracomage for us to use as a website header in the late '90s, just in time for us to be basically killed by the web, kicking the bucket in 1998 and being very dead until flowers started growing on our grave in 2014. At which point we relaunched a website and finally got a chance to put this image to its intended use, where it remains today! Released in the M-9808 artpack/website built 28 years ago this month but unseen, for the reasons just described, until 2015.

MIST0822/PIXELDUD-THE_PIT

 Mistigram: four years ago, PixelDud had a month of #textmode art exploration, where he drew a screen daily for thirty days. This slice of isometric landscape excavation, "The Pit", a little dig in preparation for The Big Dig, is one such specimen of the outsider #ANSIart that resulted, released in the MIST0822 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: It's a very striking and distinctive way of rendering the drawing of a logo upon the screen, ripping in layers as though it's been embossed into Jell-O. How did Neosmurf do it? Was it just a matter of clicking some radio buttons in Kai's Power Goo? (The history of artscene hirez suggests: Very Possibly!) In any event, this promo for wat0r's Echo crew was included in the MIST0897 artpack collection released 29 years ago this month.

 Mistigram: we can't take credit for it, but our #ASCIIart colleague Mozz has just tonight dropped a delightful solo artpack, MOZZ-01, entirely consisting of colour studies from nature (mostly of flowers.)  Mistigram: this #ANSIart screen by @codefenix_cc has been patiently waiting a very long time for us to get around to releasing our next video games-themed artpack, but other themes somehow keep getting in the way. In the meantime, however, #Metroid turns 40 today, so we can't not share this portrait of #Samus in the #ZeroSuit! The galaxy is at peace.

 Mistirgam: our unthemed MIST0823 artpack collection, released three years ago this month, was assembled in the immediate wake of the death of #PaulReubens aka #PeeWeeHerman, and we scrambled to cobble together a small tribute to his #PeeWeesPlayhouse oeuvre. Cthulu dashed off this super smallscale #ANSIart rendition of #Jambi the genie (RIP #JohnParagon also!) turning his wish-endowing chant into a Mistigris (well... Histigris) promo of sorts.

 Mistigram: this meditative #pixelart landscape, "Evening River", was drawn by Pixel Art For The Heart and included in the MIST0819 artpack collection released seven years ago this month.

MIST0820/BLIPPYPIXEL-POST-CORONA_SUPERMARKET_CAR_PARK

 Mistigram: six years ago society had just about gotten over dragging its heels and finally got around to the stay-at-home Covid-19 shutdown, which left a lot of public spaces empty and public services unmanned and @blippypixel noticing just how much trash there was blowing around the empty parking lot at his local market, and wondering if there would be anyone to notice whether he #graffiti'd a tag on the side of the building or, like in the opening act of a zombie movie, it really was anarchy out there. (To play it safe, he just drew it in #teletext.)
