Mistigram: basically, no one has ever made #ANSIart logos in this rasterized style, but back in the MIST3YR artpack collection 21 years ago, @frandroid sure did! I like to believe that with the right 3-D glasses, this logo celebrating our colleagues and rivals in Fire would really pop! https://ift.tt/2rcDQPc
Mistigram: from the MIST2YR artpack collection released 22 years ago, here’s Bandicoot’s colored #ASCIIart advertisement for his (down now… in fact, apparently also down then!) BBS Malpractice! https://ift.tt/2FVsc5q
Mistigram: another Sunday, another episode of @digitiser2000… this one promoted by a @horsenburger #teletext screen celebrating the aptest mascot for gaming on the BBC Micro computer platform, Superior Software’s #Repton. This screen was released in last month’s MIST1118 artpack collection. https://ift.tt/2rgjm84
Mistigram: from the #pixelart portfolio of @chuppixel_, here is the meteoric “Light In The Sky”, released in… last month’s MIST1118 artpack collection celebrating our 24th anniversary. https://ift.tt/2AHTIxy
Mistigram: I gather that he wasn’t quite around the first time in the ‘90s, but when we first crossed paths with @4x3freddy circa 2015 he professed interest in “keygen music” and the visual aesthetic of the digital underground - as fascinatingly demonstrated by his animated #ASCIIart visuals for this track, Ofbeat/Ofniet by his OJAJOH project, from the 2010 album “Format MC”. We included links to this video clip in our 21st anniversary MIST1015 artpack collection (so as to keep the 200 meg filesize down), but probably it was not seen by many at that time, so in the spirit of a later anniversary we’ve recently been celebrating, here it is again!
Mistigram: @blippypixel wouldn’t settle for merely transporting you to Metropolis, no - here in this BBC Micro screen he delivers nothing less than a trip to “Megatripolis”. This piece was released in this month’s MIST1118 artpack collection. https://ift.tt/2reNz7H
Mistigram: so you like looking at #teletext screens, but how’d you like to make some of your own? Play with the same online tool used by the big boys (and Raquel Meyers 8), EDIT.TF by @simonrawles - celebrated here in a teletext screen by @horsenburger, released in this month’s MIST1118 artpack collection. https://ift.tt/2E95R2p
