MiSTiGRAM: DJ James Joyce has not been heard from much in Mistigris artpacks since his BBS, Al’s House of Meats, shut down in our first year. Nonetheless, it is from him that we sourced this hilarious image - funny, but not haha funny. Our home base of area code 604 is known for being among the most unaffordable real estate markets on the planet. The slogan juxtaposed with the improvised shelter of a homeless man is just too much. You can’t see from this angle, but the doorway this cardboard structure is erected in is the abandoned campaign office of Vancouver’s current mayor, Kennedy Stewart, which is just… :chef’s kiss: context on top of it all.
