Mistigram: and back to #MarlonBrando as #VitoCorleone in #TheGodfather, rendered here on the sides of #Lego bricks by @lego48x48. This piece was included in last month’s film-themed MIST0920 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/CF0i1nmHkPJ/
Mistigram: here’s another #pixelart portrait of #RobertDeNiro as #TravisBickle in #TaxiDriver, minimalist in a completely different way. It’s by @pixard_neh again, and was included in this month’s movies-themed MIST0920 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/CF0iq_XHkx2/
Mistigram: while we’re looking at auteur’s films of the 1970s, here’s a maximally minimalist @stephanrewind #pixelart portrait of #RobertDeNiro as #TravisBickle from Martin Scorsese’s 1976 #TaxiDriver. This piece was included in our previous film-themed artpack collection, MIST0918 from two years ago. https://instagr.am/p/CF0iif6H7sD/
Mistigram: it’s been long enough since our spree of Tarantino fanart that you might have forgotten that last month’s MIST0920 collection wasn’t just for kids movies, which we could have easily spun off into their own artpack if there were but more months in the year. So to remind you, here’s a #pixelart adaptation of the famous scene in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 masterwork #TheGodfather where #VitoCorleone, played by #MarlonBrando, is visited by… the robot cat #Doraemon? @#&*! Maybe it isn’t so easy to shake off the kids stuff! This totally nutty tableau was made by @pixard_neh. https://instagr.am/p/CF0iEEPn8mf/
Mistigram: “I was hiding under your porch because I love you.” Also from Pixar’s #Up, here’s the devoted dog #Dug, languishing in the torments of the #coneofshame. This #teletext screen was drawn by @horsenburger and included in this month’s film-themed MIST0920 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/CFxbGY_HT6H/
Mistigram: here’s a #Lego pixelart portrait of #CarlFredricksen, the senior citizen hero of Pixar’s 2009 movie #Up. This piece was made by @lego48x48 and included in this month’s film-themed MIST0920 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/CFxay34HExa/
Mistigram: here’s a @horsenburger #teletext portrait of one of the most charming vermin in film history, the titular epicurean rodent from Pixar’s 2007 animated feature film #Ratatouille. This screen was included in this month’s cinema-themed MIST0920 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/CFxadaOHEJ0/
