Mistigram: one small step for cats, one giant pounce for cat-kind. This #asciiart cat #astronaut (catstronaut?), the “Cosmic Kitten”, was drawn by @littlebitspace and included in the new MIST0322 artpack collection. https://instagr.am/p/Cb8kzyMvMb_/

Mistigram: a direction we might have chosen for April and our traditional April Fool’s release is internet memes, a source of real and genuine hilarity to millions, but we chose instead to focus on our cat-themed MIST0322 artpack instead. However, this #BusinessCat #ANSIart screen by LDA suggests that you don’t always have to choose between them. https://instagr.am/p/Cb8kcJuvgjT/

Mistigram: sorry to interrupt our artpack launch there for April Fool’s - but the intensely catty MIST0322 has been released for a couple of days now and we have many cats to share with you all. Here’s a brief sampling, in #ANSIart, #asciiart, #teletext and more, featuring famous cats from pop culture and unknown cats who are intensely meaningful to the artists. Mistigram: OK, April Fool’s is behind us now, but I didn’t get a chance to share this one yesterday and NFTs will be even less funny this time next year so I’d better catch up. @littlebitspace explores the field of “valuable” algorithmically-varied pseudo-random generated art in this conceptual animated series of #ASCIIart portraits, “a collection of unusable stamps”.

Mistigram: viral memes are fun and all, but at this point it seems clear that the future of computer art is in crypto. @horsenburger boldly points the way forward with a #teletext image from his Scam Monkey Yogurt Organization collection, a suite of NANFT (Not A NOn Fungible Token) images. https://instagr.am/p/Cb0p682PnRl/

Mistigram: artpacks are fun, but we believe that the future of underground computer art is in going viral with memes. @littlebitspace demonstrates this bold new pivot with his #asciiart adaptation of the #GrusPlan meme from #DespicableMe. What could possibly go wrong? https://instagr.am/p/Cb0pRXkPbjq/
