Mistigram: this animated #BBCMicro high resolution graphics screen of some cosmic, otherworldly whirlpool was drawn by @blippypixel and included in our science-fiction-themed MIST0521 artpack collection released one year ago this month.
Mistigram: May is well nigh upon us, and for half a decade now we’ve celebrated this month by sharing art on science fiction themes. In recent years this means that the month really serves as a showcase for our SF-mad genius @Blippypixel, here representing with “Phenomenon II” from the MIST0520 artpack collection released two years ago.
Mistigram: straddling two worlds, we’re finally leaving behind our cat-themed MIST0322 artpack collection and are about to embark on our customary month-long May indulgence in computer art on science fiction themes. This #ANSIart screen by Darkman Almighty, featuring #Spock in the original #StarTrek episode #Catspaw, points the way ahead. https://instagr.am/p/CdC_0k4Dppj/
Mistigram: before we get too far into things, here’s one more reminder from @sontolhead that the Year of the Tiger is now in full effect… #teletext style! This screen was included in our recent cat-themed MIST0322 artpack collection.
Mistigram: @blippypixel wishes you all a happy #Beltane with this looping animated #BBCMicro high resolution graphics tribute to the #GreenMan, who gets more than a little jolly when this time of year comes around.
Mistigram: people were getting so impatient waiting for last week’s Blender compo to be collected and shared, @harvest.pt started reinventing #ansiart in Discord chat. We’re happy to announce that it’s now out and available via https://ift.tt/fiWachb or, otherwise put, the @sixteen_colors frontpage. Lots of strong art engaging the fun themes of clowns / investigating / film noir. https://instagr.am/p/CdBfZgSJMDV/
