MIST0624/ADEL_FAURE-PROFESSOR_SMITH'S_MENAGERIE

Mistigram: at once incredibly cude and vaguely menacing, this detailed #pixelart (Pixboard?) scene of Furbots and VPets (Furbies and Tamagotchi with pathos) by @adelfaure is titled "Professor Smith's Menagerie". It was included in the new unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.

ADEPTAPRIL/JUL03

Mistigram: AdeptApril's suggested stretegy (go about your everyday life beneath drizzling clouds) for living up to the theme of today's #ANSIart screen, "Stay Out of the Sun Day" only reliably works for denizens of the Pacific Northwest, and after Junuary even that is touch and go.

ADEPTAPRIL/JUL02

Mistigram: the empty podium AdeptApril has depicted here in #ANSIart indicates that yesterday was the day for Freedom From Fear of Speaking -- basically, the Toastmasters holiday. To all the lurkers out there who rarely post, we recognize your struggle!

ADEPTAPRIL/JUL1

Mistigram: you can apologise to a Canadian for missing #CanadaDay, but as long as you start with "Sorry", they'll still embrace you as a countryman. This #ANSIart rendition of Canada's Maple Leaf flag was drawn by AdeptApril.

MIST0624/AXB-MAKEARTNOTWAR

Mistigram: the #oldschoolASCII logo by @axbmusic in front of the paintbrushes reads "Make Art Not War". There's already too much war in the world, never enough art. You don't always have a choice, but until war becomes inevitable, always prioritize art. This #ASCIIart piece was included in the new unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.

MIST0624 teletext+ mosaic

Mistigram: if your tastes run more towards the tighter constraints of #teletext screens and those more exotic flavours of #textmode art such as the #AMSCII character set of the Amstrad CPC or #ATASCII from Atari's early 8-bit home computers, the new MIST0624 artpack collection has you covered. Here are some sample works from that collection, many of them entries in demoparty competitions, drawn by @atonalosprey , @illarterate and @carlos_teletextr.

ADEPTAPRIL/JUN30

Mistigram: you know how you usually only find out about a #meteorshower when you hear everyone talking about them the following morning? This is kind of like that, except the next big shower is the Delta Aquariids in two weeks, so stay tuned. This #ANSIart celebration was drawn by AdeptApril.
