Mistigram: who is the grimmest comics superhero? Gosh, I dunno, Ghost Rider? The Spectre? Deadman? Well OK, but who’s the biggest grim superhero ever? Batman, hands down. OK, but… OK, there’s no combination of qualifiers that makes this make sense, but in the underground computer art scene, Todd MacFarlane’s #Spawn was always top dog. (Calvin and Hobbes was number two. I guess it was just a ‘90s thing.)
