
Mistigram: this is just how things were back then - if your name was David, you just wound up buying a 386, hooking it up to your landline, lazily calling it “Dave’s Cave” (the “OIS”, online information service, was typically reserved for larger players like Compuserve or AOL, but everyone’s gotta dream!) and yourself “da caveman”, and making it the world headquarters of some kind of computer art club called Wild Buffalo TaMeRZ . It was inevitable, given the 1994 zeitgeist.
