ADEPTAPRIL/JAN15

Mistigram: hats off, everyone! Or should I say: hats ON! AdeptApril's #ANSIart calendar of holidays for Storm BBS tipped us off to the fact that today is the observance of National Hat Day, so get yourself to a haberdasher posthaste!

M-9801/QP-AMATH

Mistigram: this simple #ANSIart logo, condensed to the point of partial abstraction -- but still handily demonstrating the artist's specific aesthetic -- was drawn for Aftermath BBS by Quip, and included in the M-9801 artpack collection released 26 years ago this month.

ADEPTAPRIL/JAN14

Mistigram: you don't have much time remaining in which to do it, but I have just learned from this helpful piece of #ANSIart that Jan 14th was National Dress Up Your Pet Day. This screen was part of AdeptApril's daily holiday calendar for Storm BBS.

ADEPTAPRIL/JAN13

Mistigram: if you make bathtime so much fun, today just might be the day for you! It's National #RubberDuckie Day, and AdeptApril's #ANSIart calendar for Storm BBS is here to recognize such an auspicious occasion.

ADEPTAPRIL/JAN12

Mistigram: in the coldest, darkest days of the year, people's fancy turns to vacations abroad. Hence, today AdeptApril's Storm BBS calendar shines its #ANSIart light on Shop for Travel day. Ooh, that suitcase has little wheels on it!

ADEPTAPRIL/JAN11

Mistigram: Big Dairy, not content with having the government subsidize its industry with the strategic cheese stockpile in caves, has now reached its influence to Storm BBS' daily holiday calendar, as evidenced by this #ANSIart screen of a menacing Holstein by AdeptApril, drawn on the occasion of National Milk day.

ADEPTAPRIL/JAN10

Mistigram: January 10th is, apparently, "Save the Eagles" day. (Will no one liberate them from the Hotel California?) Practical steps you can take include reducing pesticide and lead ammunition use. This #ANSIart commemoration is by AdeptApril for the Storm BBS daily calendar.
