 Mistigram: this double-wide monochrome #teletext screen by @atonalosprey reproduces #MCEscher's 1956 lithograph #BondOfUnion, depicting the heads of a man and woman formed entirely by a single thin coiled strip of mutual essence. It was included in the unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection released two years ago.

 Mistigram: the nerd love for the #OpticalIllusion side of #MCEscher runs deep among computer artists, and here's a specimen of an #ImpossibleCube, as demonstrated in his 1958 lithograph #Belvedere, drawn by @horsenburger in #teletext. This screen was included in our MIST0517 artpack collection released seven years ago this month!

MIST0424/AXB-ESCHER

 Mistigram: this #ANSIart take on #MCEscher's 1935 lithograph #HandWithReflectingSphere (or #SelfPortraitInSphericalMirror) was drawn by @axbmusic. Slow but steady, he kept drawing underground computer artworks inspired by works of fine art over the four years since our last artpack on the subject, gradually motivating us to curate another one, culminating in the new MIST0424 collection.
