 Mistigram: Cthulu dutifully traced the monochrome poster art to Fritz Lang's 1927 German expressionist film #Metropolis as #blockASCII, then hesitated, contemplating its opening logo -- starts with an M... ends with an S... also contains a T, an I, an R... well heck, he thought, there's nearly already everything here needed to make a Mistigris logo out of, and then I could use it as an infofile header! Ultimately it did appear in exactly that way in the new science fiction-themed MIST0526 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: sometimes there's a gap between releases on our activity schedule, but please don't interpret it as our turning our backs on the community! We just need a little time to recharge our batteries and cook up more silly ideas for artpacks. This #blockASCII illustration, "we MiST you", was drawn by LDA and included in the MIST0223 artpack released three years ago this month.

 Mistigram: this #ANSIart take on #MCEscher's 1935 lithograph #HandWithReflectingSphere (or #SelfPortraitInSphericalMirror) was drawn by @axbmusic. Slow but steady, he kept drawing underground computer artworks inspired by works of fine art over the four years since our last artpack on the subject, gradually motivating us to curate another one, culminating in the new MIST0424 collection.
