MIST0823/MM-ABOUTAFONT
Mistigram: @mavenmob's #ANSIart illustrations are often inspired on some level by the artist's musical selections. Is this one, 'About A Font', made in response to @NEFFEX's 2022 song 'As You Fade Away'? Only the artist knows for sure. This piece was included in the MIST0823 artpack collection released three years ago this month.

MIST0526/MM-DIGITALLOTUS
Mistigram: in different ancient cultures the #lotus signifies different things -- in India, perfection and enlightenment; in Greece, hedonism and addiction. You may need to decide for yourself which one @mavenmob was alluding to (if not both!) in this #ANSIart illustration of the flower melting away into the Matrix. This piece was included in the new science fiction-themed MIST0526 artpack collection.

MIST0624/MM-TEXTMODE
Mistigram: @mavenmob discovered that #ANSIart is perhaps a pacemaker of sorts in this screen included in the MIST0624 artpack collection released two years ago this month.

MIST0624/MM-ELEVATOR
Mistigram: this first-person view, a scene from an imaginary video game, was drawn in #ANSIart by @mavenmob. It was included in the MIST0624 artpack collection released two years ago this month.

MIST0226/MM-VULNERABILITY

MIST0223/MM-BORNDIGITAL
Mistigram: when you wanna go oldschool, you can't beat the green glow of a P1 phosphor terminal. This embryonic #ANSIart screen, "Born Digital", was drawn by @mavenmob and included in the MIST0223 artpack collection released three years ago this month.

MIST-30/MM-LOTUSBLOOMS
Mistigram: this distinctive #ANSIart/#ASCIIart scene of a screaming lotus-eyed face looming above a cyber boxdrawn cityscape, "Amongst Mechanically Organic Lines", was made by @mavenmob and included in the MIST-30 30th anniversary artpack collection released slightly over a year ago.

MIST1025/MM-COWBOY
Mistigram: this gaunt steed may only represent a hacker conveying himself through cyberspace (hence the ones and zeroes, and the accents in terminal green), but we felt that @mavenmob's #ANSIart scene here was creepy enough to warrant inclusion in last month's spooky MIST1025 artpack collection. (Isn't having your private files rifled through by strangers scary enough?)

MIST0625/MM-ENERGY
Mistigram: much like its meatspace analogue, online love in digital cyberspace can be messy... but can still be well worth exploring! This #ANSIart screen by @mavenmob was included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0524/MM-VITALS
Mistigram: in this hopefully allegorical #ANSIart screen by @Mavenmob, a red wireframe model of a meat puppet indicates low ratings in essential categories, awaiting further resources and instructions. This piece was included in last year's science fiction-themed MIST0524 artpack collection.

MIST-30/MM-CRTANGEL
Mistigram: the fondly-remembered spirit of a bygone era, @mavenmob's #ANSIart illustration 'CRT Angel' manages to enshrine a species of technological nostalgia. This screen was included in the MIST-30 artpack celebration.

MIST-30/MM-HOPEDRONE
Mistigram: A righteous mythological Hindu babe, third eye wide open even though the other two are hidden behind bitchin' red shades, uses her six arms to demonstrate mastery over four NES controllers, enough to dominate a round of Super Spike V'Ball while eating a biryani. This intensely nostalgic #ANSIart screen, 'Every End Is Fated In Its Beginning', was drawn by @Mavenmob and included in the new MIST-30 30th anniversary artpack collection.

MIST1023/MM-JASON
Mistigram: in honour of #FridayThe13th yesterday, here's an #ANSIart illustration of the horror movie series' celebrated homocidal maniac #JasonVoorhees, doing what he loves best. This screen was drawn by @Mavenmob and included in last year's spooky MIST1013 artpack collection.

MIST1024/MM-WHOLEERROR
Mistigram: this horrific #ANSIart image, like something off of a Garbage Pail Kids card, was the only submission @Mavenmob had for last month's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection... but it's a humdinger! In chat people were asking why the only word the image was tagged with was "bisect" and I ask you what one word would better describe what you're seeing here? Worst of all, Velcro Boy is _smiling_ as he's torn apart. It's a mess, is what it is.

MIST0624/MM-LENNON
Mistigram: this #ANSIart screen of a #hummingbird, drawn by @Mavenmob, is named #OhMyLove (after the John Lennon song) and was included in last month's unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.

MIST0524/MM-LEVITATE
Mistigram: A sacred pink humanoid with a binary code in place of a heart reassuringly radiates a healing aura into a blinding white emptiness it levitates in the centre of. This #ANSIart screen was drawn by @Mavenmob and included in the recent science fiction-themed MIST0524 artpack collection.

MIST0524/MM-FATHERFIGURE
Mistigram: when you were young, it was important you had someone you trusted to hold your hand and keep you safe when you crossed the busy byways and thoroughfares. This #ANSIart screen, "Father Figure", was drawn by @Mavenmob and was included in last month's science fiction-themed MIST0524 artpack collection.

MIST0524/MM-THEREALYOU
Mistigram: a good portion of the #ANSIart screens contained in our recent science fiction-themed MIST0524 artpack collection were drawn by @Mavenmob. This is one such piece, "Which side of the screen are you on?", first seen being awarded 10th place in the ANSI art compo at last year's @flashparty.ar demoparty.
