MIST0625/BLIPPYPIXEL-MILLWALL5

Mistigram: are you brave enough to enter the #graffiti-covered tunnel in London's #Millwall district? I believe @blippypixel only made a #BBCMicro high resolution graphics sketch of it and leaves its contents to the imagination of the viewer, though who knows what happened after he put the stylus down. This piece was included in the MIST0625 artpack collection released one year ago this month.

MIST0625/MC_FRESHER-TVCR

Mistigram: This nostalgic #textmode #Unicode (or #unsiart) scene of a rented VHS cassette (animated on platforms that are GIF-friendly) is the deft handiwork of @mc.fresher, likely made on #DurDraw, and was included in the MIST0625 artpack collection released one year ago this month.

MIST0625/ZII-EVNT

Mistigram: this #graffiti-styled #ANSIart logo was drawn by @zeusii.bsky.social to announce upcoming events on Shurato's Heavenly Sphere BBS. It was included in the unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection released one year ago this month.

MIST0625/LITTLEBITSPACE-UMBRA1

Mistigram: this wicked greyscale #PETSCII cover art for #Umbra's album #ForgottenSouls was drawn by @littlebitspace and included in the MIST0625 artpack collection released one year ago this month.

MIST0625/BLIPPYPIXEL-MILLWALL3

Mistigram: last summer @blippypixel went on a walk through London and expressionistically sketched some of the urban graffiti he encountered -- #BBCMicro style! This piece from the Isle of Dogs #Millwall neighbourhood was included in the MIST0625 artpack collection, released one year ago this month.

MIST0625/LITTLEBITSPACE-CASTLEHEAD

Mistigram: you may recall our sharing of @littlebitspace's "Castle Kit" font a bit over a week ago. As it turns out, castles are not the only thing you can draw in #textmode with its collection of remapped #PETSCII glyphs, and I rather suspect that drawing a #skull is the artist's personal "Hello World" for any new creative environment. From the recent unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection, we give you: Castlehead.

MIST0625/ZII-SHCA

Mistigram: this big-eyed #ANSIart feline is #Shampoo, a cursed Amazon, from a 1994 installment of Rumiko Takahashi's #Ranma 1/2 manga. It was drawn by Zeus II, apparently for use as a BBS logoff screen, and was included in last month's unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection. I hope you like cats, because there are a lot more on their way!

MIST0625/MC_FRESHER-TEXTMODE_MISTIGRIS

Mistigram: this is an alternate, pointier, version of a Unicode #textmode promo @mc.fresher kindly drew for us in last month's unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection, riffing off the name and logo of the '80s reality TV precursor #UnsolvedMysteries for some oldschool flavour!

MIST0625/LITTLEBITSPACE-CASTLE

Mistigram: "Castle Kit" is one of three remapped #PETSCII fonts created by @littlebitspace. As its name suggests, its 8x8px blocks are intended for use illustrating scenes of monumental medieval architecture with specialised textmode semigraphics. This screen, demonstrating both its use and abuse, was included in the new, unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/MIST0625.NFO

Mistigram: Take us to your leader! This creepy #ANSIart alien dude may have been a better fit for May's science fiction artpack, but instead we gladly tapped CoaXCable's offering for infofile use in last month's unthemed MIST0625 collection.

MIST0625/BLIPPYPIXEL-GRAF11

Mistigram: somewhere out in the wilds of London, @blippypixel encountered a #graffiti portrait of Hanna-Barbera's #TopCat cartoon character, and reproduced it as a #BBCMicro finger painting.  This piece was included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/N1-HUMBL

Mistigram: this greyscale #ANSIart portrait of redditor HumanEyeballs was drawn by Nitron and included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/MC_FRESHER-DURNGEONS_AND_DRAWGONS

Mistigram: MC Fresher makes his text art creations in indyjoenz's tool #DurDraw, and he thinks it's so great he designs a lot of promotional artwork for it, using it.  This badass piece, "Durngeons & Drawgons", was included in the new, unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/ZII-KE01

Mistigram: this medieval #ANSIart screen, presumably promo or actual interface for the BBS located at https://www.kingdomsendbbs.net/ , was drawn by Zeus II and included in the new, unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/BLIPPYPIXEL-POSTER

Mistigram: many years ago, @blippypixel was in possession of a colourful framed poster of some geometrical computing algorithm's output.  It was hung proudly above his sofa, and one day for no apparent reason it fell off the wall and was destroyed in splintered wood and broken glass when it crashed into the floor.  After 10 years of many false starts and fruitful distractions, this year he finally succeeded at rolling his own reproduction of the doomed poster using the #BBCMicro's Acorn Graphics Extension ROM -- the entire reason he got into making computer art to begin with.  (That poster has a lot to answer for!)  This piece was included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/MM-ENERGY

Mistigram: much like its meatspace analogue, online love in digital cyberspace can be messy... but can still be well worth exploring! This #ANSIart screen by @mavenmob was included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/DELUKS-MISTFUNK

Mistigram: this metal af newschool #ASCIIart promo for our fine selves was drawn by Deluks and included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/XERO-MISTFUNK

Mistigram: a little celebration drawn unprompted on the occasion of MIST-30 dropping, this #emoji-based mISTFUNK text art logo (well, you see the funk emerging from the mist) is the handiwork of glitchy guest genius xero and was included in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.

MIST0625/2STONED-MISTFUNK

Mistigram: Blippypixel wasn't the only one with graffiti in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection -- here's 2Stoned's funky take on ConsoleJockey's #mistfunk #ANSIart template from MIST-30, used as an infofile header. Slap muh fro! Ah be bad!

MIST0625/ATONALOSPREY-STUDY

Mistigram: this double-wide, double-tall #teletext portrait was a study by @atonalosprey, included in the new, unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection.
