 Mistigram: this glitchy #ANSIart screen by Moth (which has flashing characters and hidden text in its original form) enshrines The Secret of Missingno, one of the artist's favorite pieces of weird old #Pokemon fanfic.  Mistigram: I've already invoked the aphorism about what curiosity did to the cat... this #ASCIIart kitty, drawn by Mozz, isn't dead yet, but when it gets to the end of its rope it may have to tie a knot and hold on. This was included in last month's #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: in the first decade of this new century, Cute Overload and I Can Has Cheezburger? testified to the self-evident truth that the Internet was, on a fundamental level, for sharing funny cat-related content, and all other applications for it were kind of secondary.  From this milieu emerged Jason "Textfiles" Scott's cat Sockington, who over the course of a decade accumulated over a million Twitter followers.  Though Socks died in 2022, a good cat is never forgotten, so when Cthulu was coming up with the short list of celebrated cats to enshrine in #ANSIart in last month's #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection, this hep cat invariably stalked its way to the top of the pile.  LDA and Moth assisted in locking down this adaptation of a 2009 t-shirt design originally by Megan Hopkins and R. Stevens.

 Mistigram: Moth began drawing an #ANSIart sketch of Odd from Code Lyoko, then made a critical error and left the piece up on our networked Moebius server for others to add to.  Zeus II swooped in, kept the pose and took the WIP in a wildly divergent direction with help from LDA.  This piece was included in the recent #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: A little late, but we hope you had a happy #Caturday anyway.  Is this cat simply enormous, or is it simply a tiny espresso cup?  Either way, Lockja's #ASCIIart scene of an overcaffeinated disaster brings us to a foregone conclusion: time to sweep and mop the floor.  This piece was included in the recent #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: nostalgia can move a reasonable person to do strange things. Case in point -- for the recent #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection, Cthulu tried to think of famous cats from the '90s, when #ANSIart was king, and reproduce them in that element for resonance synergy. This is why he for some reason thought it would be a good idea to draw the rear cover art to the 1991 album by Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" dance partner, #MCSkatKat, a real Poochie of a mascot.

 Mistigram: some housecats are mighty and fearsome hunters, bane of rodents, birds and bugs... others specialise in sneaking up and neutralising sunbeams with advanced relaxation techniques.  This #ASCIIart #cat, drawn by Mozz, has just about got the situation under control.  This piece was included in the new cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: Zeus II's #ANSIart portrait of Red Sonja is either highly expressionistic, or he had just partaken in some of those excellent red-capped Swedish forest toadstools before hunkering down to do a highly realistic portrait of his pet, who may or may not be experiencing an extreme catnip trip here.  This piece was included in the new #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.
