Mistigram: this heavily-shadowed #ASCIIart portrait of a human #skull bears a strong similarity to artist @littlebitspace’s previous bird’s-eye rendering of colossal pyramids, leaving me to conclude that these cyclopean remains of some antediluvian titan are facing straight up, hundreds of feet long from end to end and several stories high, mistaken by generations of shepherds as an oddly-shaped hill on which they could graze their flocks.

This is all contextual baggage I’m bringing with me to the piece, none of which is intended by the artist, who has named it “X-Ray”. I don’t know of any source of roentgen exposure that is impacted by shadow in this way, but for a further horrific mental image, perhaps the right side of this head blocks them out after having been dipped in molden lead. (You’re welcome.)
