Mistigram: from last year's BLNDR2024A, here's 2Stoned's first-prize-winning #ANSIart entry improvising computer art on the topics of POWER RANGERS / ROBBERY / ARRAKIS. We're running another Blender compo this weekend -- check out #blender on the EFNet IRC or stay tuned! To learn more about the compo, check out https://mistigris.org/blender/blend.html
Mistigram: @zirroneous of Fire Graphics was awarded second place for the most recent Blender improvised computer art competition, with this long #ANSIart interpretation of the topics MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS / ROBBERY / ARRAKIS. We are hosting another Blender this weekend, Apr 20-21, on channel #blender on the EFNet. You are all welcome to particpate! Broad details at https://mistigris.org/blender/blend.html
Mistigram: one of many similar tableaux resulting from last weekend's Blender improvised art competition, here is an #ANSIart scroller drawn by Darkman Almighty of the Power Rangers conducting a robbery on Arrakis. (In the stillsuit that Fremen at the bottom looks as though they might be auditioning to join the gang!)
Mistigram: this #ANSIart entry in this weekend's Blender compo by ConsoleJockey is at once abstract and plainly representational, depicting the Fisher-Price style figures of the #MightyMorphinPowerRangers attempting to rob #ShaiHulud, the Sandworm of Arrakis described as "the old man of the desert". Without their Dino Megazords, I don't think they're returning to the Command Centre with its lunch money.
Mistigram: the first Blender improvised art competition of 2024 is underway! The topics have been announced, and ... they're a nerdy mouthful. There's a ROBBERY underway on ARRAKIS, and somehow the POWER RANGERS are involved. Whatever art results from these prompts, it's sure to be colourful! Impromptu submissions are due back in around 22.5 hours from this moment. Go forth and Blend!
