Mistigram: The winner of this weekend's Blender improvised art compo was also its only eligible entrant, but hats off to @2Stoned, whose TALK SHOW HOST / DESTROYING CIVILIZATION / at CORPORATE HQ #ANSIart illustration would have been a contender in any event!  The BLNDR2025C artpack is out now, and we'll see if we can't present him more competition in November!

 Mistigram: there is no great way of presenting "scrollers", very tall and narrow #ANSIart compositions, as static images over social media. Nevertheless, LDA won yesterday's #Blender improvised computer art competition with this one, depicting #LockShockAndBarrel from #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas living the required compo topics writ large: MASKED CHILDREN / TERRORISM / CIRCUS. Ladies and gentlemen... this way to the egress. You'll have an opportunity to get a closer look at it at full width (and many, many screens of height) when the BLNDR2024D artpack drops shortly.

Mistigram: "The Blender" is an improvised computer art competition where participants try to "blend" three spontaneous topics into a unified work of art. Last time around @_n1tr0n took the assigned topics of "Power Rangers / Robbery / Arrakis" as license to draw this #ANSIart portrait of #ElizabethBanks as #RitaRepulsa, and for his trouble he took home third prize.

 Mistigram: Periodically Nitron likes to check in with the state of the art for AI handling of ridiculous topics when we assign him nonsense subjects in the Blender improvised art compo.  This time around its absurd words were "POWER RANGERS" / "ROBBERY" / and "DUNE" and, well, the hivemind needs to work a little on figuring out what a robbery looks like.  But if you need pseudo-textmode generative art on themes of desert tokusatsu (and who among us does not!) ... you could do worse!  Naturally these submissions are not eligible for competition, and I would express concerns over the potential of lost employment for skilled producers of niche fanart, but the specific Dune / Power Rangers overlap seems to be a hitherto uncapitalized territory.

 Mistigram: this #ANSIart entry in this weekend's Blender compo by ConsoleJockey is at once abstract and plainly representational, depicting the Fisher-Price style figures of the #MightyMorphinPowerRangers attempting to rob #ShaiHulud, the Sandworm of Arrakis described as "the old man of the desert". Without their Dino Megazords, I don't think they're returning to the Command Centre with its lunch money.
