MIST0226/US-CJ-LDA1
Mistigram: LDA continued his campaign of drawing #ANSIart tributes to his Mistigris colleagues here in this celebration of ConsoleJockey, whose program we use to syndicate these Mistigram posts across several microblogging services. (The mutual appreciation society continued below, where ConsoleJockey drew a reciprocal tribute to LDA! But we only have so much screen space to work with here, so stay tuned.) This piece was included in the recent unthemed MIST0226 artpack collection.

ADVENT24/21_DEC24
Mistigram: I mobilized our artists for the next pack, but have a nagging feeling that I forgot something... oh no, Kevin!! Ah, I'm sure he's fine. Not like he's #homealone! This screen was drawn by @consolejockey for this date in last year's ADVENT24 #ANSIart #AdventCalendar.

MIST-30/CJY-LETSJAM
Mistigram: returning once more to the #anime #CowboyBebop, this suite of mini #ANSIart illustrations on the subject was drawn by ConsoleJockey and included in last year's MIST-30 artpack collection.

MIST0825/US-KAME_HOUSE
Mistigram: LDA and @Consolejockey worked together on this #ANSIart illustration of #MasterRoshi's residence, the #KameHouse from #Dragonball... and it looks like we've arrived during a beautiful sunset! This piece was included in the new #anime-themed MIST0825 artpack collection.

MIST0825/US-MONONOKE
Mistigram: Cthulu felt awfully normcore (not a way he feels often!) cooking up a list of his favorite #anime and realising just how many of them were #StudioGhibli productions, but their output is solid even if his engagement with the genre is relatively superficial. He drew this #ANSIart tribute to 1997's #PrincessMononoke (with help from LDA and ConsoleJockey) for the new anime-themed MIST0825 artpack collection.

MIST0725/CJY-iVY
Mistigram: As part of the feline parade offered up in the new cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection, @Consolejockey provided this #ANSIart portrait of their #cat companion Ivy.

MIST0625/2STONED-MISTFUNK
Mistigram: Blippypixel wasn't the only one with graffiti in the new unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection -- here's 2Stoned's funky take on ConsoleJockey's #mistfunk #ANSIart template from MIST-30, used as an infofile header. Slap muh fro! Ah be bad!

ADVENT23/20_DEC23
Mistigram: For this date in last year's ADVENT23 #AdventCalendar, @consolejockey drew an #ANSIart screen of Rodney Recloose's Ski Shop from Electronic Arts' 1990 minigame compilation #SkiOrDie.

MIST1024/CJY-JPNOGRE
Mistigram: the unfriendly face of an #oni 👹 (or if you prefer, Unicode consortium, 'Japanese ogre') stares down the viewer as binary code mixes with the rain, spelling out the hidden message '#ANSIart is dead'. This screen was drawn by @ConsoleJockey and included in last month's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection.

MIST1124 "Mistfunk" logo template
Mistigram: 26 years back, as Mist Classic entered its final year, we thought it would be fun to have different artists in our varied stable of creators demonstrate their different personal approaches toward colouring in and completing a plain Mistigris logo outline drawn by Rage, and the diverse results turned up in the M-9802 artpack collection.
For our 30th anniversary we're circulating another "unskinned" logo, this time drawn by ConsoleJockey and reading "Mistfunk", for friends to try their hand at finishing off in their own style. If you're game to take a crack at it, you can find the generic version available as bitmap or block ASCII at https://mistigris.org/ packs/MIST1124/ ... I recommend you go wild with it.
Let us know when your experiment is complete and we hope to include it in our artpack due out at the end of this month!

BLNDR2024A/CJY-BLENDER-JAN24
Mistigram: this #ANSIart entry in this weekend's Blender compo by ConsoleJockey is at once abstract and plainly representational, depicting the Fisher-Price style figures of the #MightyMorphinPowerRangers attempting to rob #ShaiHulud, the Sandworm of Arrakis described as "the old man of the desert". Without their Dino Megazords, I don't think they're returning to the Command Centre with its lunch money.
