Today on Mistigram, this ANSI art one-panel comic strip which was used in the infofile of our Mistigris World Tour appearance with Fire in April of 1997. It was drawn by our resident font specialist Platinum, and we’re glad to also be sharing it with you today.
Today on Mistigram, we have this piece of newschool ASCII art by Crystal Meth, a dark horse Mist member who always flew under the radar despite an appetite for learning through experimentation, now hopelessly lost forever. This work is exceptional by 2016 standards, but was just another grain of sand on the beach in 1997 – the piece was released in (perhaps our best artpack of the classic era?) our Mistigris World Tour joint release with Fire in April of 1997.
Today on Mistigram: this ANSI art logo, unmistakably by The Extremist, was just a small part of a much larger (500 lines!) multi-artist collaboration in the Fire tourstop of our Mistigris World Tour, but playing to Instagram’s strengths, we provide you the excerpt. Maybe you didn’t think that the word “Mistigris” had that many pointy letters in it, but he could always find a way to coax the points and edges out.
