 Mistigram: this striking nighttime #textmode art landscape (#ASCIIart? #ANSIart? There's a little Xbin character remapping going on) was drawn by Mozz and included in last year's MIST-30 artpack collection.

MIST1025/LITTLEBITSPACE-ASCII-HEAD

 Mistigram: this elegant #textmode #skull, given rather more texture through use of a remapped #ASCIIart font than the ANSI bonehead it appeared alongside in last month's spooky MIST1025 artpack collection, is of course the handiwork of @littlebitspace.

 Mistigram: @mcfresher drew this #UTF8 #textmode illustration of a #beherit from #Berserk, titled Griffith Did Nothing Wrong.  It was included in last month's #anime-themed MIST0825 artpack collection.

MIST0625/LITTLEBITSPACE-CASTLEHEAD

 Mistigram: you may recall our sharing of @littlebitspace's "Castle Kit" font a bit over a week ago. As it turns out, castles are not the only thing you can draw in #textmode with its collection of remapped #PETSCII glyphs, and I rather suspect that drawing a #skull is the artist's personal "Hello World" for any new creative environment. From the recent unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection, we give you: Castlehead.

 Mistigram: this is an alternate, pointier, version of a Unicode #textmode promo @mc.fresher kindly drew for us in last month's unthemed MIST0625 artpack collection, riffing off the name and logo of the '80s reality TV precursor #UnsolvedMysteries for some oldschool flavour!

 Mistigram: a riff on the X-Files' #IWantToBelieve, this animated #DurDraw piece of #textmode art by MC Fresher depicts an alien abduction captioned with "I Want To Leave".  This piece was included in the new science fiction-themed MIST0525 artpack collection.

MIST0525/MC_FRESHER-JAMESON

 Mistigram: in the #GhostInTheShell world, the #Jameson is a bare-bones cyborg model, containing an individual's cyberbrain and spinal cord in a little box on legs -- not terribly glamorous but probably rather thrifty! This deceptively simple #texmode portrait of one was drawn in #DurDraw by MC Fresher and included in the new science fiction-themed MIST0525 artpack collection.

 Mistigram: I don't know if it's a dimension door or a space elevator, but in any event this man is waiting for the doors to open so he can embark on his journey.  This #textmode illustration (taking advantage of XBIN character remapping) by @hortau was included in the new science fiction-themed MIST0525 artpack collection.

MIST-30/US-SPECTACLE

 Mistigram: shortly after making a splash with his solo XBIn collection, Hortau stopped by our Discord to make a guest appearance in our MIST-30 30th anniversary celebration, with these two lads in whimsical hats. But what perplexity were they trying to wrap their heads around? Cthulu offered up some crude graffiti for them to stroke their chins at.

 Mistigram: this sassy pro-piracy PSA comes straight outta the underground courtesy of MC Fresher, who drew this #textmode illustration in Unicode using #Durdraw.  It was included in the recent MIST-30 artpack collection.

MIST1121/POLYDUCKS-FLYING_TOASTER

 Mistigram: The inimitable @Polyducks here drew a fabulous #flyingtoaster, mascot of the After Dark screensaver dynasty, in #textmode art (most likely using a character set and colour palette of his own devising). It was included in the MIST1121 artpack collection.

MIST1024/LITTLEBITSPACE-INTERPLANETARY

 Mistigram: this #textmode art screen by @littlebitspace, "Interplanetary", figured prominently in last month's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection, because... wtf! So there's a cosmic conjunction of celestial spheres, fine! But what's up with the colossal, planet-sized skull? Is there an immense headless torso somewhere out there in orbit around Jupiter? Does the skull have a molten core, an atmosphere even? Every answer opens the door to weirder questions.

MIST1021/BNJMNBRGMN-IN_HIS_HOUSE_AT_R'LYEH

 Mistigram: @bnjmnbrgmn (aka Bema) drew this, "In his house at R'lyeh" (dead #Cthulhu waits dreaming) as part of an eldritch suite of #Lovecraftian #textmode screens fashioned from #PETSCII characters. This gloriously goopy green Cyclopean scene was included in the spooky MIST1021 artpack collection released three years ago this month.

MIST0624/ILLARTERATE-WALNUT_THE_OWL

 Mistigram: when you split a walnut in half, the interior structure of the shell can resemble an #owl face. I expect that's why this #textmode composition by @illarterate, which won 3rd place in the 2023 #ATASCII art compo, is named "Walnut the Owl". It was included in the recent unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.

MIST0624/TAPIO-DRAGON

 Mistigram: Tapio of @unculturedgames has taken the smallscale #ANSIart aesthetic and extended it into an entire #QB64 #textmode #JRPG, #WhispersInTheMoss, available at most major PC game electronic storefronts. We included some scenes from the game, such as this conversation with a dragon, in the recent unthemed MIST0624 artpack collection.
