Today, Stand With Bandcamp in Support of Trans Rights

Today, Stand With Bandcamp in Support of Trans Rights:

In this cyberspatial realm of bits, bytes and electrons, zeroes and ones pass seamlessly, abstractly representing information such as encoded music or encrypted financial transactions. Sadly, for many in the offline world, there are quite a few more barriers to conducting the everyday essentials of living on the planet as a human being, from serving in the military to simply having a place where they are able to go pee.

One group fighting to promote, uphold and maintain rights for these unfortunates is the Transgender Law Centre, and something cool is that the online music host and storefront Bandcamp is donating their proceeds from all sales today (until midnight PST) to benefit this organization.

A number of musicians who have released their tunes in Mistigris artpacks have music available for sale on Bandcamp. Buying music from them today is a good way to do a solid by helping to fund this group while getting something you can enjoy today – Mist music! – for your troubles. It’s a win-win!

All music on Bandcamp is part of this arrangement, but musicians who have appeared in Mistigris artpacks that we can specifically point you toward (not all URLs are Bandcamp ones, but in those cases there’s still a Bandcamp backend):
