We don’t just do photo mosaics once a year, we have been using them on a monthly basis to promote the contents of our artpacks at a glance. They are often well received by way of people expressing that an artpack has been released, but we felt that including them in the regular “top 9” would be… unuseful. But they were nonetheless a big part of the story, so they get a mosaic of their own, a tile of our most popular artpack-announcement mosaics with a hypothetical upper limit of 81 pictures condensed down into this one.
The data revealed by their numbers isn’t suuuuper statistically significant, but it’s probably not coincidence that our top two mosaics are both from this year’s MIST1017 Hallowe'en artpack collection. It’s a fun holiday, makes for a great artpack theme, and it’s hard to imagine surpassing the spooky heights achieved in MIST1017 thanks to @horsenburger’s wild spree (mosaic #2 is exclusively the cream of his Halloween teletext screens, just the tip of the iceberg.)
