Sorry for the interruption in the regular Mistigram posts, we’ve been setting up a Sony S-Frame to hang at the Echoes & Ripples show of visual art on musical themes, opening at @subcultureatcc tonight with four live bands performing as part of the @accordionnoirfest taking place this weekend! The digital picture frame is packed with over 250 music-themed works of teletext, shift_jis, pixelart etc from our back catalogue, especially the MIST0118 artpack entirely concerned with that subject… as well as a sneak preview of works for our NEXT music-themed collection, MIST0119. If you watch the slideshow for long enough you will also see ANSI art guest appearances by fellow travelers @whazzit_b7, @misfit_blocktronics and @sevendxs from @blocktronics, plus one very special piece by The Knight of Fuel. The frame should be set up near the bar, as if you needed an excuse to hang out there. The exhibition, including work from Darren William and @elin_m_jonsson, Jenny Ritter and Mister Fire-Man, who have all made brief appearances in Mistigris artpacks, should be hanging through the end of the month. https://ift.tt/2Og7RHB
