Mistigram: from the MIST1194 artpack collection released 25 years ago this month, here’s an unusual piece from the #ANSIart fontist the Naughty Tycoon, drawn for Mavrik’s BBS Daemon’s Gate. Not purely a typographer, TNT also was known to draw pictures, but only on a couple of occasions, and only on a single weird subject - this bizarre flying dog’s head, named “Bill”. If anyone ever knew why, that knowledge has dissipated into background radiation over the past quarter century. The logo also, drawn by a logo specialist, is crude but with a deliberate kind of studied primitivism.
