Mistigram: a long-lived Mist Classic vaporware side project was the e-mag Concrete, brainchild of Coyote, embraced a little too warmly by Cthulu and The Laughing Fool, making for a tight crew that was described as “two Stalins and a Trotsky.” Just about every week through 1995-6, we would meet up at Benny’s Bagels (which just closed yesterday, hence this timely choice of subject) to brainstorm, report on progress with our assignments, and, basically, dig ourselves in deeper.

It did eventually yield one issue of the slimmest of paper zines, whose first page is shared here. (Put all the hacking tfiles on the front page, that’ll definitely draw in wary outsiders!) We will have to find another location from which to scheme the creation of its next issue.

The Concrete cold archives are currently in inaccessible stasis in a subdirectory of mistigris.org… Someday, hopefully sometime this year, its web complex will be plugged back in. Yow! https://ift.tt/2jmi3ke
