Mistigram: the first Mist logo by #ANSIart god Eerie must be...

Mistigram: the first Mist logo by #ANSIart god Eerie must be very close to the first Mist logo ever. Prior colleague to Cthulu and many 604 artscene heads in iMPERiAL, his brief involvement at Mistigris’ inception spun many consequences into action - his touch felt in the establishment of our WHQ BBS the Screaming Tomato, the creation of a satellite wing of Mist in his 418 area code, the necessity of the creation of our KiTSCHNet echomail network to facilitate communication across the country… He drew our first FILE_ID.DIZ for our first artpack and provided interior artwork for the initial release of our ANSI editor, #PabloDraw… All this in the window of about a month and a half, between iMPERiAL’s collapse and the release of the first Mistigris artpack. Then he was on his way out, and we’ve all been kind of catching our breath ever since!

Phew. This blocky logo was included in our first artpack release, MIST1094, released 25 years ago last month. These days we postpone anniversary programming to make space to celebrate Hallowe'en, but this month part of the way we’re going to be celebrating our anniversary is by also celebrating past anniversaries. https://ift.tt/2PEGHOm
