Mistigram: 1997 was a great period for textmode typography by committee. Our man Quip was logging in the hours on the IRC needed to intercept these evolving #ANSIart logos, and no fewer than six esteemed artists from different groups took turns icing this piece until, through some arbitrary means, it was proclaimed complete. The logo reads “joint” as in “this piece was worked on jointly by a small army” - its other contributors include Fluor of Awe lettering, Impulse and The Riddler of Lazarus, Icepick of Fuel and Phoman of Echo. I don’t know when or where they released it, but we released it 21 years ago this month in the MIST0897 artpack collection. https://ift.tt/2MnnhMF
