Mistigram: after he had, for all intents and purposes, conquered ANSI art, the dynamo known as Eerie decided to try his hand at what we called “hirez”, high resolution artwork saved as bitmaps. He kept releasing ANSI art in other groups (at one point, I recall he held active membership in some five of them simultaneously), but Mist Classic being what it was, it provided a good platform for experimentation. From the looks of things he dabbled with an MS Paint mouse drawing style in Photoshop. The artscene was not, it turns out, ready for this jelly. This was a promotional piece for Mavrik’s BBS Daemon’s Gate, and was released 24 years ago this month in the MIST1194 artpack collection. https://ift.tt/2DGT1bq
