Mistigram: immediately following the MIST2YR artpack collection, we intended to kick off the Mistigris World Tour, wherein our entire roster would release their art in a coordinated fashion as gang guest contributors to different artgroups’ artpacks every month. The first scheduled tour stop was in November of 1996 with Dieznyik’s project “Ophidiac” (meaning “snake-like”), so we released a placeholder MIST1196 artpack consisting solely of a serpentine illustrated riddle-poem, written by Bast and illustrated (or who knows where he might have stolen the art from) by Thanatos, who made a big fuss about the symbolic weight of the presence of the question mark in the tip of the feathered serpent’s tail. Yeah, nice touch. The only problem was that shortly following our announcement, Ophidiac officially closed operations! We’d pulled the plug on our monthly collection and left our fans a, what, null pointer directing them to a nonexistent location. Quite an unauspicious way to kick off our unprecedented and internally controversial world tour!
